Eurostar compensation

Hi,
I was travelling on the Eurostar yesterday and was delayed. We were told that we could claim compensation, and I received an email offering an evoucher to use for my next booking on the Eurostar. Is it possible to claim the compensation as cash instead and how do you request it, as I don’t plan on travelling on the Eurostar in the foreseeable future. Thanks.
