Parking ticket.

Options
Hi.
I recieved a parking fine from Amtrac which I appealed immediately. I’ve now recieved a parking charge of £100 saying I can no longer appeal as I only had 21 days to do so. They have totally ignored my appeal which was sent to them within 2 days of the fine.
Does anybody have any experience of this and or a suggestion of what I should do now please. Best regards cathy

Ignore anything further other than a Letter Of/Before Claim or an official court claim from the Northampton CCBC.

Have you complained to the landowner and asked them to intervene?

Have you written to your MP - ask him/her to get involved.

What did you write in your appeal? Did you identify the driver with phrases like ‘I parked’, ‘I didn’t see the signs’?

Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I doubt it was Amtrac , that is the railroad company in the USA

more likely to be Armtrac, an IPC company

Have you based your forum username on your real name?

If so, you would be wise to get your forum username changed to something very much more anonymous.

To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:
    Q. How can I change my username?

    A.
In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.

You need to start again with a new username.

The NEWBIES FAQS thread does warn everyone never to register with their real name.

Did you read the NEWBIES sticky thread here first, and use the template appeal, or did you write a letter telling the story of what happened and hand over the driver's name and address? Hope not the latter.
