Fraudulent Credit Applications

Someone is approaching companies and requesting a credit account in the name of my company. This has now happened twice and I am concerned that it won't be the last.
The first one succeeded and got away with goods to the value of £10k, the second has not succeeded and I received a letter from the company confirming the application granting a pro forma account.
With the successful one the company had CCTV of the culprit and the vehicle used to collect the goods showing the index number. I wasted 45 minutes of my life reporting it to Action Fraud and told them of the CCTV and they completed the call by confirming that I probably would hear no more.
My company has substantial assets which is obviously why they are using it, but we are very low profile and have no visible presence and I have always shredded envelopes addressed to us, so its a mystery as to how they have come across us. I am the only employee so its not an inside job.
It doesn't seem like I can do much about this but any suggestions would be welcome. I sense I am going to run into some aggravation!

Have you considered getting your company registered with CIFAS?
