ASG Boilers

Morning

We just had our yearly service on our boiler from A shade Green Boilers.which weve had about 3 years
Engineer found a serious fault and the boiler needs replacing, hes reset the boiler and left it with a temporary fix, but stated it will need replacing.
We received a call from Asg saying they wasn't going to replace the boiler and they are cancelling our contract with them.

The reason is poor payment history
we pay monthly for the boiler

We have struggled some months but always caught up and paid what we owe.
the current status of our account is we are up to date and do not owe any arrears.confirmed by the person on the phone at ASG

But ASG refuse to replace our boiler

Can they refuse to replace the boiler, and cancel our contract?

its the weekend so citizens advice is closed.

Can anyone help once this temporary fix goes well be left with no hot water or heating

Thank you for any help

Do you know exactly what the fault is?
If not, you should contact ASG as soon as possible and get confirmation of the problem. As it was referred to as a serious fault then it's possible that it's a safety hazard and if that is the case, the engineer should have disabled the boiler to prevent it being used.

Can you post a copy of your contract here? What ASG can and cannot do will be heavily influenced by the contract, so I would need to see a copy before commenting.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

I'd be getting a second opinion from an independent gas safe heating engineer.
