I have read the newbies info but haven’t found what to do if PCN is nearly a year old and no other documentation or ticket has ever been issued. First I knew was office forwarding a final reminder (it’s a company car). Car was in a Waitrose car park. They have increased fine with no initial notification. Sorry if there’s info somewhere on this but I’ve never posted on a forum before so a bit lost!

Have you complained to Waitrose? An ethical company such as this should not allow scammers to target their customers, complain to your MP as the writing is on the wal for these scammers.
On 18th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these private parking companies. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, and persistent offenders denied access. Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers.
Until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Thanks for your post. Will try Waitrose on Monday but it was so long ago. Will have to look for proof on bank statement that I shopped there that day. If I have exceeded time limit most likely would of paid but annoyed at being told I have ignored all correspondence when none sent. Have never had a parking ticket in over 40 years driving!0

Your MY WAITROSE card will have records, held by Waitys Head Office, that will prove shopping last year. Complain to the Head Office and CEO, if the Store manager is useless.
It is REALLY IMPORTANT to keep pressing for cancellation, as Britannia sue people.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
