Hi there!
Iv tried to look for the ‘newbie’ thread but couldn’t see anything - I’m new to this website. Basically I’m registered with clearscore & got an email yesterday to say I have a CCJ registered on my report from county court business in Northampton. It doesn’t say who from. It also says the date of 03/01/19 - I’m wonderig why it has only now appeared & it’s too late to pay it and get it removed! I haven’t received any paperwork or notifications about it. Iv lived at my current address for over 18months and my old mail was redirected. Me and my partner are Hoping to buy a home in the next few months and I could do without it on my file - can I get rid of it and how long does that typically take? Any help appreciated!

was this to your old address or the or you are at now?
because this has gone past 31 days you cannot just pay it to go away , it will be there but marked as satisfied
why not ring court on monday , find out who , when and more importantly to what address papers went to
you msy be able to apply for a set aside , but this may cost you £2550 -
You need to phone the CCBC in Northampton from where you will find the details of the CCJ. Once you have the details you can apply for a set-aside. Check the NEWBIE thread (one click back, third post down) and read post #2 which will explain about set-asides. In the meantime, to prepare yourself, search this forum using the six-point order as your search term.0

You need to take this seriously, CCJs can ruin peoples' lives, bankrupt companies, stop them from moving house, break up marriages, buy a car, get a 'phone contract.
We can only help you so far but you are expected to make an effort yourself. So far you have not shown signs of doing so.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
You can find the NEWBIES thread, as everyone can. Please see my signature.
If you were viewing this forum on a phone, for the love of God, stop. Fed up with people viewing the forum on their phones and wondering why they can't see half of the resources, then starting threads saying they can't see the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
