Van only 1 owner from new

Looking at purchasing a van and came across one advertised as private seller and 1 owner from new.

Well I could see ex van rental sticker marks on it and the van was on a garage forcourt. So much for private seller.

Would you buy a van that was an ex rental?

I might buy a van that was an ex-rental, but I wouldn't buy anything from a dealer pretending to be a private seller.

Agreed. I've bought a couple of ex-rental cars without any problems.

However .... if I was self-employed and my business depended on the van I might be more wary.

My last ex-rental van only lasted me 16 years.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Agree with the above. Nothing wrong with fleet vehicles, they tend to have at least been serviced properly. I had an ex RAC Transit that was a great van.
Dealer pretending to be private though? No way.

How much are you hoping to pay? I want something similar, LWB, yet cheaper, maybe a 2011/12

Mercedes made the Vario. I assume you mean a Vauxhall Vivaro?

If so, widen your search to Renault Trafic, Fiat Talento and Nissan Primastar/NV300 - they're the same van, just with different badges. 2015 was around the model-change date.

The market is very much in favour of the buyer at the moment - I'm selling a 2013 LWB Sprinter, and it's not worth anything as much as I thought it would be.

Feel free to drop me a message if it's your thing and you fancy some info :)
