Hi I apologise for posting again, I have just realised my original post I stated the wrong time after the parking ticket ran out it is 11 minutes not 1. I have copied my original post as I would appreciate it if you could advise me if I can appeal on the grounds we did put £2 in machine but £1 did not register any my partner failed to notice. Many Thanks
Hi, I have received a PCN and would realy appreciate any advice on how to respond as my problem is not straightforward.
We parked on a private land car park last week, my partner went to the machine where he put in £2 to allow for up to a 2 hour stay, the photos that came with the notice showed on the ticket only £1 had successfully been deposited and therefore only a 1 hour stay ( I can only assume the other £1 would drop out of the machine perhaps where you would get change etc) my partner did not notice this when he put the ticket on the dashboard.
I have read quite a few of your threads regarding parking notices and have understood in 2015 private land car park were made to be like council car parks and have to leave a ten minute leeway either side.
So my question is when I appeal ( I understand by the threads also that it will be refused and I will then have to appeal to POPLA) do I try to appeal on the grounds I have explained above regarding we did pay the required amount but unfortunately my partner failed to notice it had only credited £1 or is it better to appeal on the grounds that the PCN was photographed as being only one minute after the hour was up and there is supposed to be 10 minutes leeway, we arrived back at the car just before the two hours would have been up.
Thankyou for reading this post, any help is very much appreciated.

Please don't just start a new thread. Just add to your existing one or edit your original post. Otherwise confusion reigns and we get all sorts of advice scattered all over the place.0

If you're using a phone or tablet, don't. Try using a PC.0
