Changing Suppliers - Meter issue
Options
We are looking to change Supplier. Moved into a new build in May last year, one of two houses built on the site of one old house.
On registering with the new supplier, they could not confirm our address and asked to send us pictures of the meters which we did.
They have come back and said on the national database, the property is listed as Property Address 13 xxxxx. Gas Metering Point 13a xxxxx.
Their recommendation is "If you go back through our website and sign up for this address, then we'll be taking over the right meter"
13A is our address. I can't enter two addresses and feel I can't enter my neighbors address.
Thinking that national database should be updated?
Anyone got experience of this or any recommendations?

Have you spoken to your neighbour to see what his address is recorded as
How are his and yours listed on the Post Office Post Code search. ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Not spoken to our neighbor.
Both properties are registered as 13 and 13a with the Post Office
I suspect their address and Gas Metering point both show 13. Can't see why my metering point can't read 13.0
