Had a good weekend spending wise had a nsd on Friday and only spent £9.50 on 2 dresses sat on Fleabay for my holidays so thats good Sunday i took dd to spend some of her pocket money o grabbed some bits and some stuff for mil she will give it me back in the week!! Plans for this week

•NSD today of possible
• go gym at least twice this week i am going after work
•need to give £20 to friend for tomorrow shes having dd when i am at work and she is taking her out so will pay for the kids dinner
• finish my weeding out the front
•all meals from stores
•hair done tomorrow...tomorrow will be spendy i can feel it already!!
•extra suitcase down from the loft
• need to buy toiletries and suntan lotion for holiday dont think i actually need anything else to take
•book airport parking
• need to spend as little as possible this week
•sort clothes out for holiday ready to be ironed next week
•print some documents out at work

I think thats it so far for this week sounds a lot in reality a few hours for the holiday stuff shouldnt take long and keeps me from spending for a few hours too lol

Well i am completely back to reality after an amazing holiday the hotel was amazing the people were lovely...defo a holiday with great memories!!

Now i am back i am in full MSE mode...from today anyway only spent £4.25 on some bday cards and wrapping paper need some money to put in one of the cards and its late already as i missed it when i was away...but its better late than never :j

We sold something and got a good chunk of money ended up using a little bit towards the holiday spending money and we are using the rest to decorate 2 rooms in our house because they are really bad :eek: prob not the most effective when we owe money in debt but oh is doing the decorating himself weve had to buy a steamer and sander but they will last us years and only cost £45 for the 2!! We are having the walls skimmed in 1 room so will mean it will only cost us paint in the future to decorate!!

Anyway plan for this week is:
• do meal plan and shopping list
• got some free cinema tickets so will see if there is anything dd wants to see the weekend
• oh is working nights most of the week (good overtime rate that will pay for dds birthday)
• i want to pay 1 small credit card off within the next 2-3 weeks so focus any small payments on that...ideally when we have found out how much a plasterer will be
• deliver all bday cards presents and money
•return 1 roll of wall paper
•all meals from stores....got some yummy food in so that will help they only think i may need is another bad of salad for work
• ideally 2 nsds between now and friday
•investigate cheap ways to decorate a third bedroom it needs sorting first but i am thinking using curtains from room 1 and some paint and cheap carpet...bathroom lino cost £21 i was so impressed and looks lovely!!

Anyway thats me i am going to bed i will hopefully update the list throughout the week

Well my list is going down steadily heres my progess so far

do meal plan and shopping list - not done yet will do tomorrow
• got some free cinema tickets so will see if there is anything dd wants to see the weekend - theres nothing she hasnt seen so will save the tickets for another day
• oh is working nights most of the week (good overtime rate that will pay for dds birthday) - not enjoying this i cant sleep when hes not here thats why im online at this time!!
• i want to pay 1 small credit card off within the next 2-3 weeks so focus any small payments on that...ideally when we have found out how much a plasterer will be - had 2 quotes will speak with bil and offer the job to him for the same as the lower quote which we think is reasonable the higher one was an additional 50% think he thought he saw us coming
• deliver all bday cards presents and money - will do 2 lots tomorrow and the other on Sat
•return 1 roll of wall paper - done used the money to buy all our goodies and bits for the week
•all meals from stores....got some yummy food in so that will help they only think i may need is another bad of salad for work - done

Has a HSD today managed to get 1 more thing off dds list for school down to the last bits and her shoes :j also brought us some new clothes only primarni spent £54 in there but got a new top hood cardigan and 2 leggings for dd and a skirt top and shoesand 2 tops for me defo needed as dd is going up in sizes and i have i pair of jeans after my 1 pair of work trousers i still hate buying clothes for myself i feel so guilty!!

I set up some direct debits and increased 2 payments for bills i got a bit behind on only 3 more to go once they are set up i will start over paying 1 at a time until they are completely paid off :beer:

Tomorrows plans...do some visiting after work with dd to take some cards and bday money (ohs paying :j ) i will try and do food shopping if i have chance to make a proper list,watch some more of a series on NexfliX when dd in bed and oh at work we have half a lasagne left from today so oh has claimed that for tomorrows dinner i will see what me and dd will have thats all so far meeting a friend on sat shes paid i need to pay her bk that will be £7.50 i will take drinks and snacks too and also get in my garden me and oh are going to have a good go at the garden get it looking nice!!

Feeling really annoyed with myself today i have been rushing around all week and i didnt stop to make a meal plan or shopping list...my shopping came to £80 :eek: and i still forgot dog food and toiletries :mad: so thats another £10 gone today i have listed the foods and I am going to make it last 2 weeks so hopefully next week should only be fruit,fridge bits and dog food so i can claw the budget back a bit!!

Anyway after me being annoyed with myself i am planning a lsd need to pay friend for dds ticket to an playarea £7.50 i shall take drinks with me and snacks and have a nice catch up with her

Others plans for today include
•tidy around
•do washing hang on line
•fill car up and go to the tip on the way out
• buy last bits of shopping i fotgit :mad:
• try not to spend anymore money if i can!!
Thats it for today tomorrow me and oh are tidying the garden then will have a bbq tea :j

Well a semi successful weekend had msd spent £20 on shopping and taking dd out!! Yest i spent £9.98 on a few bits and today all i spent was £10 on chippy tea for me and dd and an ice cream for dd for our day out was lovely i do need to rein the spending back as its starting to spiral!! Tomorrow me and oh are going to get some bday presents for dd other than that and some taco shells for tea i think that should be it until the end of the week!! Did plenty of washing and dried on the line,saved one of ohs tops from cherry juice that saved some money buying a new top!! :money:

Not many plans for this week really
• keep house tidy
• put all suitcases up the loft (well help oh to do it)
• my car could do with a clean...we will see how this week goes
• shopping list and meal plan as dont need much this week
• get dd school shoes and pumps for p.e

My life may not be wild but i am trying my best to keep myself in line with my spending and trying to pay off some debts at the same time

I am going to work out every penny this week so i can have a running calculator:)

Right tomorrow is the day i am going to bring myself back down to earth with becomming debt free again after having a bereavement and going a bit spendy crazy and dds birthday (again very very spendy) tomorrow i am going cold turkey and i plan on having a NSD well i am hoping

Last week i called all my debters and arranged new repayment plans and my hope is at the end of each month to pay whats left over as a chunk off one of my debts with xmas this will be hard i have mang people to buy for but just plan om buying for the kids and my mom and nan £15 each is my goal so this weeks plan is to write an actual list what i want for everyone and then i will keep an eye out for what i want and buy no more! But i dont actually plan om buying anything yet i just want to make sure i have an idea to save me buying extra bits :money:

This weeks jobs:
• 4 NSDs if possible i have loads of food in so some tasty meals this week
•back to @ldi this week as convenience has taken over recently and shopping has gone sky high
• need a sort out of my clothes i have so many nothing decent enough to sell but will take some to be weighed in
• try to eat healthy of possible but have a whole bday cake to eat this week :eek:
• need to sort my house out it is a tip from having a very busy weekend
•funeral this week from aforementioned bereavement flowers paid for only need to buy a drink at the wake (pop only) will stick something in slow cooker for when we return
• sort out my awful kitchen drawers and cupboards...they are shocking :eek:

I am also feeling very fragile mentally atm so need to sort out some kind of help for me possibly an app or podcast that helps people with grieving...i feel like im very sensitive atm and its not me at all im usually quite closed and keep it all to myself (thats not good either but it is just how i am)

Anyway thats my list for now i may add more to it as the week goes on but my main thing is no spending until Tuesday and only then some bits for tea for dd and her friend as we have no goodies in i dont think lol!! Max £3 spend at the most :j

Yesterday i had my 1st NSD in a very long while...today was looking the same until i realised i had a puncture so £25 later (on a good aprt worn tyre another place wanted £90 for a new one) and im on my way but that is all i spent so i can live with that i did have to withdraw £30 so i have £5 in my purse for a drink at the funeral tomorrow. Dd had her friend around today was going to get some nuggets but found some frozen fish in freezer i had forgot about so fish chips and beans for tea...you cant beat it
House is finally looking like people live her and not squat here :eek: not been overly healthy but im eating which is a bonus not been eating much recently due to stress but none of my clothes actually feel looser :mad:

Tomorrows plans
•weve run out of shampoo so will use nectar points to get new one and also hair spray only cheap one tho
•funeral...dreading it very close relative eho passed away dont want to go into detail as i cant stop crying as it is
• tea in the slow cooker no idea what tho??
•spend as little as possible
• i have also lost my black bag so will spend the morning looking for it if not il have to take a clutch which im sure isnt really suitable....bloody kids hiding my bag after playing with it :rotfl:

Thats it im tired going to make a cuppa and have some more of this endless cake :rotfl:

This week hasnt been brilliant moneywise but not terrible either...just ticking over

Wednesday ended up being a NSD as oh brought drinks at funeral, yest i did a quick mini shop at L!dl spent £16.48 on bits today i spent £7 in the market on fruit and lunch box bits and £15 in w!lco but did get loads of rabbit stuff some reduced glass jars for trying to make overnight oats for OH i think he will enjoy the quickness of it in a morning still not done a big shop but in control of the bits i am spending i have meals until at least Monday so hopefully other than yorkies for sunday dinner some dog food and some strawberries i think we should have enough to last until Tuesday then if i can do another mini shop it will mean i have reduced this weeks shopping or at least not brought loads of repeat items going to have a chilling evening today

Tomorrow dd is spending some of her bday money then going to the football with OH as they have season tickets not sure what i am doing in the afternoon prob pottering about and sunday my mom is coming for dinner got everything in other than the aforementioned yorkies so will be a lovely afternoon :j and then my weekend has gone and bk to work Monday :eek:

Jobs for the weekend
Spend no more than £2 all weekend
Change beds and dry on line if possible
Get on top of washing and iron all uniforms for next week...i hate this job but hate it more in dribs and drabs through the week
I NEED to clean my car its terrible so maybe if i get really bored and its not raining i may do that :rotfl::rotfl:

Thats all i plan on having a chilled weekend overall as we have had loads of busy ones recently and i just need a rest

Really not impressed with my spending i have been reading the boards just not posting...thid weekend has been bad had free cinema tickets yest so used it as my excuse to buy me and dd a costa brought popcorn and drinks from @sda but ended up spending £10 on carp as well then today me and dd were hungry whilst out so £4.95 spent in greggs then £16 on a kfc (i do feel rough tho so cooking was my last resort) i feel so annoyed because other than dds halloween outfit and some tops for one of her clubs ive spent a fortune on not a great lot :mad:

Anyway i start again tomorrow plan on having a nsd tomorrow all meals from stores and staying in after work to just chill as i have been on all weekend!!

I need to start sorting bits out to sell but i feel bad selling dds stuff even tho she has so much and never plays with most of it will speak with oh about this :eek:

Debts arent brilliant but the payment plans are running along nicely got a bit behind with water so will try and call them friday (payday) and make a big payment with anything i can scrap together by then

Next month will be a tight one what with xmas thats why i need to start selling bits and to make some space as we have none!!

Tomorrows plan:
Make final payment plan with debter
All meals from stores
Sort at least 2 items of mine and dds and put for sale online (i may do mine tonight)
Bake some cookies with dd we have everything in and shes started to get into baking A LOT!!
Thats all so far i will see what else if anything i can manage :j

Well i am trying to be frugal spent more than i would have liked on shopping this week but did get more meat than usual as it was reduced so should last a good week and a half so next week will keep the shopping light!!

Sold 2 things online put loads more things on and either no interest or silly bids...i.e something cost me £30 asking for £5 and they offer £1.50 :eek: insulting i think esp when they are like new

Anyway only spent £1.50 today on dds club, plan for the week nsd tomorrow and lsds on tuesday and wednesday, going to do an actual shopping list and remember to take it with me. Next weekend have an event on all weekend with dd so shouldnt spend anything :T will try and find more bits to post online.

Need to also make a xmas shopping list me and oh have agreed to reduce other family members down as its getting silly with the number of kids esp when we only have 1 and dd usual gets nothing off some of them :mad:

Dd needs some football boots so will get looking online first for her new club...this all comes out of her child tax benefit so is accounted for.

Need to pay water mom has lent me the money to pay off the chunk it needs to be paid bk by January at the latest so i will transfer a set amount over each week when i am paid!!

Thats all so far happy to report all other bills are going down steadily i have worked out from January that i will start to pay off my over draft and i can afford £175 per month so hopfully just over a year it will be cleared :j

I am hoping that when other bills are paid the extra can go towards paying off my overdraft i have many months left but knowing everything is on a plan and im not behind or not paying things i can see a light at the end of the tunnel, once i have paid that i will be approx £600 a month better off and i want to save as much as i can so one day i will actually have an emergency fund but also not live outside my means and knowing its only a year or so away makes it so much more better for me mentally.

Anyway i am going for a bath and a chilling evening
