Hi
Moved house August 2018 order a bed and otterman. Bed arrived storage part broken waited weeks then eventually after many emails and eventually upping the anti the resolved the issue. The second Issue that has not been resolved was the Otterman which arrived broken and we rejected this and they have collected the Otterman.
We obtained these item via a Finance Agreement despite numerous emails asking what they are they going to do in regard to refund or reduced amount payable on agreement we are getting no where .
I am not sure what in these circumstances l am entitled to request and what action l need to take.
Can anyone please advise?
Many thanks

If you are going down the finance company route, stop asking the finance company what they are going to do and tell them what you want them to do. If they don't do that, tell them you wish to make a formal complaint.
A formal complaint forces them to look at the problem. If they do nothing or can't resolve it, you can go to the finance ombudsman. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
The retailer should provide what you purchased or a refund.
If they won't then you can raise a Section 75 claim (assuming it cost over £100) with the finance company, who should then provide you with the refund.0
