If you have option to reject for a refund I would do so. Take greater care when buying your next car, if you need one.Mortgage free

I think I am leaning towards that option now because, as much as I'd like to keep the car, I fear that getting it repaired successfully won't be straightforward and/or free of charge.
I have tried to be careful when buying cars and I guess have been fairly lucky up until now. This car seemed to have a good service history and a good MOT history with no standout issues in the past. I even spent time reading up on potential problems with them but I failed to spot this particular type of fault.
I have definitely learned something though; In future I shall avoid used Peugeots and I always believed that a 6 month aftermarket warranty was something worth having, but in many cases I'm sure it's really a quite pointless piece of paper.0
