Trace Debt Recovery

Options
Hello,

Long story short got a ticket from NCP, appealed through them and POPLA but both rejected my appeal. Left as I assumed NCP would send a letter requesting payment and now got a letter from Trace Debt Recovery asking for £160.

I would of followed the advice on the newbie FAQ page, but on that thread it said NOT TO CONTECT THE DEBT COLLECTOR. But I did call the debt collector to ask why I wasn't informed in writing from NCP that my appeal was rejected by POPLA and that the amount is still outstanding.

I was planning on sending a letter saying I will not be paying as per another forum on this site.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eddy, keep ignoring debt collectors - Trace can't do anything, only NCP can take you to court.

File any letters and ignore until you get a court claim form (N1) and then look at post #2 on the NEWBIE thread - NCP do have up to 6 years to come after you, sadly :(

Please stop taking the bait of debt collector letters. Sit on your hands.

Come back if NCP try a small claim, as they do sometimes. We win 99% of them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No CCJ, as long as the PPC knows your correct address and you defend any court claim with our help.

If TRACE have found you at a new address, you MUST email the parking firm to make them erase your old address completely.

Follow the advice you have been given on this (someone else's thread) and then, if you still have problems AND you have read the NEWBIE sticky, please start your own thread.
