Experian and address changes

Hi all
I've recently applied for a mortgage and despite hitting the affordability metrics and Experian score of 936 (from Barclaycard's free Experian Credit Score), I have been declined, no CCJ's etc.
I signed up to Experian's CreditExpert and discovered that my address hasn't changed since I moved in 2017, I'm not on the electoral roll and hardly any of my credit history (including my current mortgage) is on file (and showing a score of 865).
Experian had advised me that the file would automatically update my address as I have changed the address with all my lenders, but it hasn't.
My question is, now that I have updated my address on the credit file myself, will my credit history update the next time the file is updated by Experian as well as me appearing on the ER (which I'm definitely on as confirmed by my local council).
Thanks

The scores are made up - they're not a guide to the likelihood of you getting credit. But you need to ensure your address is correct.
They should link all the history together, but check that the ER does show. Your council should have sent through an update, even if they are only doing it in January of each year.0 -
I did out of curiosity check Noddle and I'm showing as on the ER with the new property.
Agreed the scores are a bit of a waste of time, I can assume that the large chunk of missing credit history, including my current mortgage is the issue with the declinature.0 -
You need to ask the council and your creditors etc. to send address updates as well0
