Insurance for high cost laptop

I've recently purchased a macbook pro laptop for £4,000 and am having difficulty getting insurance for it as all the gadget/laptop insurance companies only seem to insure up to £2,000 max.

I live with my parents and they have their own home and contents insurance. For various reasons I'd rather not add my macbook onto their home insurance especially since I will be moving soon anyway.

Does anyone know of any companies that do provide the kind of insurace I am after?

One I know (not a recommendation) is simplesurance who will cover laptops up to £5000

Contents insurance might be the way to go.
Initially parents and then your own.

Looks like my post (#2 above) got auto spelling corrected!

As mentioned in #2 that company does offer up to £5000 cover
