Serial Switcher

Options
Good morning all,

I am a "serial switcher" and have a bank account that I use solely for switching.

I have just seen the lastest switching offer of £150.00 from HSBC, along with this rule "You can't have had an HSBC account since Jan 2016".

The problem is, I have no idea how long it's been since I had a bank account with HSBC, only that I did have one at some point!

Is there anyway I can find out please, rather than go through the whole switching process only to find out I an not eligible for the offer.

Many thanks.

You could log in to one of the credit agencies and see if there's a history of your bank accounts there.

I'm a little surprised you don't keep records - I too switch often but keep bank documents for a few years and a handwritten notebook of all switches and bonuses, just to be sure I can remember if I need to.
