Car allowance vs company car

Greetings!

I should be shortly starting a job where I'll have the option of a company car or a quite generous car allowance.

As part of the company policy, if you take the allowance you have to use it on a PCP lease and the car must meet certain requirements.

My question is, on a mortgage application would it look better to have:
  1. 1 A lower salary with no expense spent on a car (apart from BIK)
  2. 2 A much higher salary, but with about £500-£600 on a lease

Any advice appreciated!
