UKPC requesting the full name and address of driver

Options
Hi there,

I recently started an appeal against a PCN received from UKPC. I used the template found in the NEWBIES thread. UKPC have now sent a letter asking for the full name and address of the driver before they are able to issue a POPLA code. Additionally the PCN reference number is incorrect, so I can't conduct any of this online, only via post. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks in advance for your help

Ignore it, they will eventually reject your original appeal and send you a POPLA Code. They have 35 days in which to do so. Anything significantly beyond that deadly ne, complain to Steve Clark of the BPA.

This is standard behaviour by UKPC, I’m surprised you haven’t seen this in dozens upon dozens of other UKPC threads - you are reading others about this PPC, aren’t you?

So much more to learn by not corralling yourself within your own thread.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
