How much spending money for one week in Edinburgh

Me and my friend are going to Seton Sands caravan park in June which is 13 miles away from Edinburgh. How much money will we roughly need for one week in Edinburgh. We will be having breakfast in the caravan and eating out for lunch and dinner, we also want to visit the castle and do some tours. Would £100 a day for two non alcohol drinkers be enough?

If you're away 13 miles from Edinburgh you need £90 daily for traveling, and it's the average price for traveling. Plus the average price of food for one day is £20 for non-alcohol drinkers, and as you said you're with your friend so the average price of a hotel for a couple is £110, So, you need £220 for each day.Travel Enthusiast0

How will you travel into Edinburgh?
Bus will be about £2 each way but take 11/2 hours.
Car will involve negotiating Edinburgh travel and incur car parking charges.
You can check online for the entry costs to places. e'g the Castle costs £19.50
City tours £12-£16
Brittania from£16.50
package tours https://www.getyourguide.com/edinburgh-l44/royal-edinburgh-ticket-t37531/?referrer_view_id=5114527c5d65ae6ab0c63cb6e5faf46d&referrer_view_position=8
Eating out can be expensive depending on where you eat but you have plenty of choice in Edinburgh. You may also consider having dinner in Seton Sands.
Do some research online before you go so you know where you want to go and don't waste time deciding once you are there.0 -
Where on earth are you getting 90 quid a day from....
Also, they are staying in a caravan so no hotel.
You need to read the op again,...slowlymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

Me and my friend ate at the Wetherspoons by Edinburgh station when we were there. Nothing wrong with a 'Spoons for cheap eats.0

IIRC Seton Sands is within the area of a Lothian Transport Network Day ticket, which is cheap very good value as it covers the whole city and areas around it, so you can get to all the attractions wherever they are.
For eating cheaply, just off Princes St is Snax Cafe in West Register St - basic menu but does the job. IIRC they may have a couple of other branches now and I understand there are now several other cafes in the same vein.
If you want a good curry for not a lot, the Mosque Kitchen is hard to beat.0
