ParkingEye PCN Supermarket overstay

After beating a CEL PCN at county court claim stage 2 years ago I'm dismayed to have received another PCN, this time from ParkingEye, details:
16/02/19: Supermarket car park overstay (34 mins) at night while store closed (driver didn't see signs)
- Issued 20/02/19 so not a golden ticket
- POFA wording on PCN appears correct
04/03/19: Standard appeal using template from newbies thread submitted online (did not indicate who was driving)
08/03/19: Response received from Parking Eye stating appeal referred for further information, requesting driver details and on hold for 28 days...If info not provided appeal may well be rejected and POPLA code provided.
I'm guessing I should not reply and await rejection and POPLA code? And then proceed with POPLA appeal? From what I've read on other threads it sounds like ParkingEye are more difficult to beat than some of the others??
Any help gratefully received, thanks in advance.

Wait for the POPLA code and read other threads where people have talked about the fact that the signs probably do not offer a licence to park (i.e. no contract exists) outside of shopping hours.
Get some photos of the signs in the dark (no flash, make is unreadable) as this will be likely to win it at POPLA, along with the above argument if the sign only offers a contract for shoppers...when the shops are open!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

the driver needs to learn that these par@sites infest everywhere they can and so no piece of private land is safe to park on , meaning that any time the chance is used the driver must ALWAYS seek out the signs and preferably use caution and not park
it is no longer worth taking the risk since george orwells 1984 has been enacted0 -
Thanks both, will do. Believe me, no-one is more mad at the driver for falling for another one of these than the driver!0
