I'm currently running Avast Free AV but have heard some good reports about Panda Free AV. I've had no complaints with Avast but would appreciate comments (good or bad) from Panda Free users as to whether its worth changing to it.

Currently Panda causes chrome-based browsers to crash after downloading. No doubt this is bug that will be fixed but I'd avoid it for the time being. Apart from that, I've used it for years and been very happy with it.0

If you're on Windows 10 ... use the built-in Windows Defender, and don't be a click-happy eejit and you'll be fine.

The free AV packages offer no advantage compared to the built-in AV that comes with Windows 10.
If you aren’t happy with Windows security, for a modest outlay, currently £35, you can add Bitdefender Total Security 2019 to 5 PCs/laptops for a year.

Then Bitdefender Free would be my suggestion.0 -
MalwareBytes Premium is amazing. It replaces the need for an antivirus, and unlike every antivirus I've tried, doesn't come with bloatware, doesn't (noticeably) slow down the PC, and hasn't caused any technical problems.0

MWB is very good, but is not an AV. You can run an AV programme with MWB without conflicts: I run Kaspersky Total Security but Bitdefender is just as good. I would not run any "Free" AV and definitely not Avast or AVG.
If you run MWB on its own, best bet is to buy the Premium version.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
