It's early days , pink romantic fuzz everywhere. She will come to her senses in a few weeks. Probably when he is in Australia ! It doesn't sound like either of them has the money to follow through with any of the plans so as long as she isn't talking about actually resigning and moving near him let her enjoy a bit of fun and dreaming. It's always like this at the beginning of a relationship. Prince Charming is wonderful, a bit later she will realise he's a human being with stinky socks and not enough money , just like the rest of them.
Or , maybe , just maybe they will work things out, but you have to let them decide for themselves, whatever age they are. No-one wants someone else telling them the cold truth before they are ready for it ! Hopefully no harm will come from this and the very least is they have some fun !Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -

Thank you for the replies so far. I will leave her to it. But it really is a clich!. It's always wonderful then you find that all that glitters isn't gold. Oystercatcher is right, it could work out... who knows. Time will tell.0

She's 30, he's 35.
It certainly isn't puppy love.
And I don't see it as any of your business.0 -

But how many people do we all know who are bananas ? Many of them settle down and have happy relationships. Many of them go on to lead troubled and muddled lives too . It's not really our job to sort them out . Maybe we can warn them if a real shark is coming along but most people manage to muddle along eventually!Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
Why has the OP deleted her post?
Maybe someone told the friend that the OP was talking about that her personal life was in the public domain...0
