But won't the bank still process the payment and send a letter saying they had to process a payment although the account was closed and demand the money from you within a certain amount of time before they pass it on to debt collectors?

Now my blood is boiling :mad: - they have purposely used a different company name to "get around" the block and take the payment.

I very much doubt that they would do this

I think we can see why. You could have been quite a bit better off though if your wife hadn't chucked away £14.99 per month for so many years. One can only hope you got some value out of it even if wasn't obvious.
