Balance transfer clarification please

Hi All
hopefully a quick question, do Balance Transfer cards differentiate between cash & purchase or is a balance just that a balance?
I am after some cash Barclaycard are offering me a money transfer at 0% interest for 10 months my question is if I haven't cleared the money transfer debt within the 10 months I will want to transfer to another 0% card.
