recall but not for what I thought!?

right ok, in case any of you are/aren't following the saga, I bought a car a few weeks ago. Last week the seller contacts me to advise he has just received notification about the car being recalled. I get straight on google & it states this particular model was recalled due to an issue with the turbo causing fires. I wait for him to forward me the recall notice. To my surprise on reading the recall notice it has been recalled due to a handbrake issue NOT the other issue.
To my knowledge it has not previously been recalled hence i dont think the other issue has been fixed ... is there somewhere I can find out? There are certainly no documents saying it's been fixed or recalled re the turbo issue.
I'm just wondering/thinking when will it get fixed/when the manufacturer would notifiy me of that? According to google the recall re that issue happened in 2016. If i'm putting it into the garage to get one recall issue fixed wouldn't it be helpful to get both done at the same time?
Just a little confused!

What car is it?0

vauxhall.
I have checked online & this model was definitely recalled back in 2016 for fire issue, but as I say I don't have any knowledge that my particular car was recalled & the repair carried out. I'm guessing all of that particular model should have been recalled though not just select ones.
Could i contact vauxhall directly & enquire?0 -
What recalls show on each of these...?
https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall
https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/
Or, yes, talk to the local Vauxhall dealer. With the exact VIN (which they can get from the registration, but is visible on the windscreen plate or on your V5C), they can give you precise details of what's applicable, and whether your car's had it or not.
As for "guessing" - it may well be that minor spec or production date differences mean not all ostensibly similar cars require the recall.0 -

Only safety recalls are shown. Manufacturers recall for a variety of reasons not all are necessarily safety issues.0
