Harry Potter DVD from Tescos

Hi,
I was in Tescos yesterday and they are doing an offer on the new Harry Potter DVD. Normally £14 if you spend £30 you can have it for £8 saving £6. But get this, the £30 spend can INCLUDE the dvd so you only have to spend £16 on shopping to qualify for the discount! Obviouysly only any good if you shop at tescosa and wanted to get the DVD!

that is only good if you shop at tesco`s and have a clubcard, if people are just wanting the harry potter dvd, then the morrisons deal is better.

Plus asked in our Tesco yesterday and they weren't doing the offer - Some tescos are doing it - we're not I was told Doh
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!
  • While Tescos are running a discount price of £8 if you spend £30 - this specifically states it includes the DVD price. However Tescos tills, at least in Abingdon, don't know this and seems to be expecting a spend of £30 excluding the DVD.

So I paid £14 and got double the difference back (£12) so it cost me £2.

It is possible that the tills don't know about the offer at all because someone else was getting a refund and he had spent much more than £30 excluding the DVD.

'Cos for me Morrisons is within walking distance and Tesco is 5-6 miles up the road! With fuel prices as they are, even with clubcard points, it just wouldn't add up to make such a journey, plus don't have time to join the OAPs on the free bus and do a 4hr day trip?! :p xx
