Combining Lifetime ISA and Help to Buy ISA

Hello all
I have an ISA query which might also be relevant to other people?
When two people are first time buyers, Is it possible for one person to use a LISA and the other person to use a help to buy ISA to purchase a house together, and get the bonuses from both ISA’s?
I have a LISA which I am planning to use as a first time buyer. My girlfriend however has a help to buy ISA, which she is planning to use also as a first time buyer. I am aware two people can both use their LISA’s or help to buy ISA’s respectively to purchase a house together, but I am struggling to find out it is possible to use one of each.
Thank you

It is indeed relevant to other people, which is why many have asked the same question on the ISA board!
....where they're given the answer that yes, a couple can use one LISA and one HTB ISA for a first property, as long as the purchase satisfies the requirements of both schemes.0 -
I had a quick browse but didn’t find the many posts, sorry!
Thank you for the quick response though. Do you have a link to somewhere this is confirmed by banks/building societies?0 -
It's not up to banks or building societies to confirm, it's the government that makes the rules!Do you have a link to somewhere this is confirmed by banks/building societies?
I'm not aware of any government document that spells it out but it should be borne in mind that these products, like all ISAs, are associated with an Individual, so the schemes can be used independently by two individuals, unless it's specified anywhere that this isn't the case (it isn't!).0
