Hi All,
My husband and I are currently renting a property on the Rent-to-Buy scheme. We have now managed to save a deposit and are in a position to buy the property. I know that the rent-to-buy scheme is part of the wider shared ownership scheme, however we are looking to buy the house outright (i.e. 100% of shares).
However, our question is whether we can still make an offer on the house based on the valuation, or whether the valuation is fixed? Struggling to find an answer to this and don't want to miss out on an opportunity to save a few extra pounds!
