  • Yeah, I think it's pretty much the same :-) The vendor thought the survey had already been done and panicked at received the call to arrange another.

Good god I just can't wait for this to be over :rotfl:

Once this bits out the way the real waiting starts!

we've been waiting 3 weeks for titles and contracts to be issued by the vendors solicitors so we can exchange (due to complete in 2 weeks and a handful of days time) :(

check out the waiting to exchange thread on the house buying sub forum to see what comes next (sorry to be a downer and say more of the same anxious waiting, but on the plus side you are a step closer than you were yesterday or even last week. Hope it all is smooth sailing for you going forward)
  • I know, but I can definitely relax then lol! :T

Aw it really is a nightmare isn't it, all of the waiting! Fingers crossed it speeds up a bit for you so you're not waiting too long, it feels like absolute torture doesn't it!

I'll definitely check that out, thank you :-)

Just had a text : "your application is currently with the underwriters and there is no information outstanding at this moment. We will be in contact when we have a further update."
  • MB just rang and all of our documents have been signed off (depending on valuation), no extra documents requested and they're happy with everything. We are now just waiting on valuation results, which is going ahead today.

Am I allowed to relax yet?!

Good news LittleMac I'd say you can relax a bit :) sounds like things are progressing so keeping my fingers crossed for you :)

mind when the offer arrives to check the figures, ours was £50 out but I'm not complaining as its £50 I don't have to pay interest on :)
  • Thank you :-) hopefully they use the same report that was done by the same company on Friday (when NatWest forgot to cancel it!) and we will have our offer in the post tomorrow (fingers crossed!)

What an absolutely nerve wracking time, especially when you'e already been declined once!

Hope you paperwork and everything is going through smoothly too and you manage to exchange soon! :)
