Accord Mortgages

After our decline from NatWest on Thursday, our MB submitted an application to Accord.
Does anyone know what the turn around normally is for them? I've tried to look online but can't see much unfortunately.
I wasn't panicking originally, but I'm certainly starting to now!

We just mortgaged with accord,
our broker submitted the application on the Tuesday, hard credit search done on the Friday and offer received 20 minutes later, with the offer pack issued a week later.
All in all a very quick turnaround, one thing to keep an eye out for is our mortgage offer was slightly less than we'd applied for (only by £50) so we didn't raise it but check the offer when it lands.0 -
Thank you rescynic, was that quite recent too? Don't think we've had the hard search done yet but I'm not 100% sure which one to check (I only pay for Experian).
Thanks ACG, I didn't realise that was a 'real time' thing on that page - doh!0 -

Littlemac133 our app went in on the 26th February, the hard search pinged up on my clearscore (Equifax)
BTW you can get a free Experian account through money saving expert credit club (might save you a few pounds, if as you said above your paying for Experian)
best of luck with the mortgage app, I know for us it was a tense wait for that call from the broker to say its approved.0 -
I have ClearScore but nothing has popped up yet unfortunately! Yeah I have that, I just wanted any updates to be in real time as I hate waiting the 30 days hah!
Thank you, it's an awful wait isn't it! We'll just keep everything crossed in the mean time

Just had an update from our MB, they're happy with our payslips but need to check our bank statements as we have child benefit in our application.
is there anything else they will need to check for?
Our MB said they haven't requested any further documents.0 -
we provided them 6 months of bank statements and 6 months of payslips (a friend of mine suggested this as he'd been asked for the additional months) they also asked for copies of our credit card statements (we have 3 between us) and copies of my wifes car loan and personal loan agreements.
other than that we had one query about our adult daughter (they asked if she was moving with us or not) and that was it.0 -
Bloody hell that is a lot to ask for!! :-o0

Valuation has just been instructed sending the vendor into chaos because NatWest forgot to cancel their valuation on Friday!
Aaaagh blimey. Hope it's good news that the valuation has been instructed though! Also it's the same company that went on Friday so hoping they can use the same report for ease and time!0 -
Not sure how the valuation bit works, i'm guessing it's England your buying in? up here (Scotland) we get given a "home report" by the EA that has a section in it for mortgage valuation, energy efficiency, property inspection and questionnaire completed by the vendors, which was passed onto Accord, no additional valuation required.0
