  • Anyone know if this TV is any good?

Am about to spend £399 on an LG 32", so if this TV is good, then its a bargain for an extra 10" and 1080P support!
  • IMO Wharfedale are pretty shoddy I'd stick with the LG
  • Heh most likely!
At least LG aren't a bottom name brand, though they aren't really all that highly regarded...

Do Wharfedale make their own TV's or are they rebadged?

I think you'll find that LG make panels for the best makes in tv appliances now
  • Perhaps, we'll see, purchasing must wait til next payday, as much as I want it now! :(

With a Wharfedale you'll need the guarantee :)

I would expect it is a LG screen anyway, bound to be reviews somewhere, for that price I would try it, at least you can get a refund from Argos within certain time limit...I purchsed A/S and it was blooming AWFUL,now have Samsung, Sound very poor quality and I paid £799..
so worth trying I would say
I would love to be a Travel Agent :j

I am trying to get a 32 lcd tv from john kewis for £600, it costs £800 but they promise to match any price from another store!!

If you need a tv try that, as you get a 5 year guarentee as well...

The offer quoted above is very helpful and thank you NORDBERG, but with a TV I would go for a more reputable company!

If anyone buys it, i Wish them all the best...
  • Fair enough. I never said it was going to be the best TV, just the cheapest 1080p on the market. There's a thread on here where people are falling over themselves to buy a Beko 32in - Beko!!

Horses for courses and all that!!
