Can mortgage lenders see which other companies have searched a person's credit rating?

Thanks

Well they can see what searches have been done eg was it for a loan.
Not sure they can see who the provider is, maybe someone else will add further info.

The rating is the number, your credit file is what basically is your credit history which is what lenders can see but they dont see your rating.
  • No they don't - the scores and ratings from the CRA's are not a thing that lenders use.

They will use their own tools and systems to match you against their product set when you apply for something.

Nobody searches a 'credit rating'. Lenders search credit files.
