Asking price v Sold price

I know I can find the sold price of a house on right move, but is there any site that will show me a history or, at the least, the last asking price advertised?

If you are on the desktop site, you can find sold prices through
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices.html
They also have a house comparison report which can be quite useful
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-value.html
If you are looking at a house....
Click on 'Market Info' tab under the pictures of the house (where floor plans/descriptions are) and then you have access to sold prices and other info.
On mobile site - when looking at the house you will have 'Nearby Sold Prices' in the menu below the pics.
You can also use other websites to check sold prices, many of which are detailed in the following MSE article

Sometimes there are advert remanents hanging about on the net.
The right Google terms may find them.0 -

https://www.zoopla.co.uk/house-prices/ archives a lot of estate agent adverts with photos, price.0

There used to be a firefox plugin called property bee, which tracked that sort of thing, but it's been discontinued.
According to the property bee website, that functionality is now on the https://www.nethouseprices.com website - there's a price history tab on each property listing. Dunno how comprehensive it is though.0 -
Google for scraps by using a variety of keywords - sometimes the primary listing gets deleted, but the PDF of the schedule remains.
Zoopla retains history for properties advertised through them
... or you could start building a database for your chosen area. Get a list of properties up on screen, copy/paste the text of the page into a Notepad file, edit it so that it can be imported to Excel or similar, and sorted on criteria such as price, postcode, etc.0
