The Associates Credit Card PPI

I had The Associates Credit Card in 2002-2003 and during that time Citi Finance took over the Assoicates Credit Card. I had the ppi for about 6 months and then cancelled it. During that time i was self employed so didnt need ppi and that is why I cancelled. I am a bit confused as to if I can claim from Citi Fiance? I have my paperwork so would I just do the ombudsman form and the request for a refund letter and send both to Citifinance? Would I need to fill in a list of the charges. Thank you for any help you can offer.

You can complain, but most policies covered the self employed so you may need a stronger reason.
You don't need to send details of what you paid unless they cannot find any records which is likely. But wait for their response.
Your complaint would go to New Day as they bought the old Citi book.0 -
If you didn't need it, why did you take it out?
Cancelling it in 2003 will allow them to invoke the time bar 3 year rule which, coupled with the 6 year rule, can allow them to dismiss the complaint if they wished to.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
