Check out www.dmxdimension.com it lists all the best dell deals and lets you see what machines can be bought with XP - you might spot one you overlooked.0

What are you going to use it for (more details the better), & what's your budget?
Most Dell's onboard graphics can be easily upgraded with a dedicated GPU (from eBuyer/other retailer). And depending on the one you need, the PSU may not have to be changed. G0 -
go through the business side of the dell site to be allowed to choose xp on any of the systems0

Yep, that's right - from here:Little_John wrote: »go through the business side of the dell site to be allowed to choose xp on any of the systems
GThe links provided below will take you to the Vostro systems on the Dell UK Small Business website. You are still allowed to purchase these systems if you are a home user. During the checkout process you will be asked to provide a business name, however it is perfectly acceptable to enter your own name in this space.0 -
What is the difference between XP Home and XP Pro? Can XP Home be networked?0

We bought about 300 last year from Dell. Now they will not supply us with XP licenses or offer system support for xp, just Vista compatability.
Now we have gone to Viglen - I had no say in the matter.GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.

Thats not really relevant as Dell are still selling XP machines to private buyers - as per my post earlier.
Also the best deals for Dell machines are listed on www.dmxdimension.com, not just one or two.0 -
