Recipe for munchy seeds?

I'm (almost) sure I saw a reference in one of your posts about making nibbly seeds ..... just wondered if you would mind posting the recipe please? I've got some seeds I need to use up and thought these might make a change from popcorn for healthy snacks for the family.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm pretty sure the recipe that Thriftlady uses is from More With Less:
2 cups (300g) sunflower seeds
1 tbsp oil
1 dsp worcestershire sauce
sprinkle garlic salt.
Combine all together on a baking sheet and bake at 180C for about 30mins, stirring once or twice.
Hope this helps - I'm sure that Thriftlady has an even better version that she has worked out.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Aw shucks you're making me blush Thriftmonster is right, the recipe is from More With Less. I have indeed changed it a bit -same quantities of everything but I usually use soy sauce instead of Worcester (shouldn't really say that considering where I live). I don't normally have garlic salt in so I sprinkle with something like season-all or Barts poultry seasoning -any blend like cajun/bbq/piri piri would be good too, or smoked paprika..mmm0

See, I knew she would have some improved version - must try out the fajita seasoned version.
My Mum buys seeds (!) that are flavoured with peanut butter, tahini and soy which are nice - pumpkin and sunflower mixed - though personally I would add some Tabasco next time I tried to reproduce them.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Ooh I like the sound of the peanut butter, tahini and soy- am going to try that next (when I've bought some more seeds that is).
Talking of Tahini paste do you happen to know where I can get some from? the shop I used to buy it from has recently closed and I only have enough left for one more lot of humus (sp?).People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

I actually buy my tahini from Tesco - it's either near the stock cubes or near the sundried tomatoes, olives in jars etc - unless they've moved it to the wholefood section!!!!
I used 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 dsp tahini and 1 dsp soy - next time I would use a bit more soy and a few drops of Tabasco as I said
Going to do Gingham's version tomorrow - sounds yummy!“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

We had butternut squash for dinner a couple of nights ago, and as I was scraping the seeds out, I thought I'd try roasting them with some seasoning........ They were delicious...... and to think I used to throw them away!!!0
