Shop direct finance PPI claim

Hi there, I have received a letter from Shop
Direct finance group regarding PPI on my Littlewoods account, inviting me to make a complaint. I have previously tried to claim via a PPI recovery company but it was rejected as Shop Direct stated that in their view the policy was not mis-sold. My question is - do I go through the complaint channels offered, or do I seek to claim via another PPI recovery company?
