Energy tariff when not living in the home
Is there a preferred combined energy tariff when you are looking to heat/power a house (Victorian 2 up - 2 down terraced house) that you will not be living in on a regular basis i.e. it will be empty? it seems terribly expensive to spend @£90 per month for a house no-one will be in.

If you're using no energy then 25p a day each for gas and electric is about £15 in standing charges - where does £90 come from ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Ebico Zero is good for empty homes as there are no standing charges, but naturally the unit rates are much higher for the energy you do use.
Put the typical monthly usage into a comparison site to see what the best options are.0
