You bought a car with a fault, assume they sold it at a price to reflect that?

You really need to have all the facts, as mentioned you appear to have told them they can come and inspect the car and didnt take the car back to them.
The lie you claim they said is you wouldnt return the car which is true from what you said, you said they can come and inspect the car.

You really need to get all the wording right.

Op, just make sure the garage is still trading and check carefully the company name you bought from before spending money on court proceedings.

NO way - I never said that !!!! were did I say that ... bought at a fair price who would buy a car with a ropey engine.

apollokid, can you get someone to act on your behalf or at least to help you? Given what you've got going on it's understandable, but you're ranting and raving on here and coming across as irrational and self-contradictory - and that's to people on here who are trying to help. That's not a sound approach to handling your case. Have you got a friend who can act as an advocate and help you put together a logical set of evidence devoid of emotion and hyperbole?
