I think your offer to drop hands was very generous and VCS were foolish not to take it. Even if they win the amount they get from you (ca. £175) would be far less than 3 hours reps fees. If you win and get your costs the whole saga will have cost them a fair amount.
In this fairytale land of scammers, it reminds me of the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland0 -
Does anybody know what happens next? Do I just need to sit tight until I receive court orders?0
-
And does anybody know how I can obtain the recording they used in court or can I not do that?0
-
You should be able to obtain a transcript but I read they can be expensive. If you can get through on the phone, probably best to call the court, they must have been asked this before and can surely advise you.0

Thank you. Just looked online and it will probably cost £100, so not worth doing. If I get an adjourned case, can I request that it be seen either in a different court or before a different judge? The judge didn't seem clued up on POFA and seemed like he was just happy to order me to pay.0

Not sure but you may be able to ask for another court in the circuit such as Walsall or Wolverhampton. Was it a Deputy District Judge or a District Judge? Less likely to get the same DDJ again as they work on a part time basis and cover several courts.

I'm not sure whether it was a DJ or DDJ. I assume DJ, because when the solicitor asked the usher to call us back in she went to the door and said 'wish me luck' almost like it is always the same judge and he is always quite abrupt (which is the impression I got too). Is there anyway I could check?0

Also a big concern - when I directed the court towards my evidence which was a signage confirming the Railway Byelaws apply on this site (which is displayed in their car park) the Claimant said the photo is just a photo of a sign, it is not date stamped or time stamped so it is not relevant. How do I prevent this the next time?0

It would have been either of the two below.
Deputy District Judge Edden
Hearing Room 2
District Judge Sehdev
Hearing Room 1

Thank you. It was District Judge Sehdev. Where do you get this information?
Definitely seems like it would be worth me trying to change where the hearing is held, high chance I get that judge again and he seemed to immediately favour the Claimant and almost took a dim view of me using the internet. It was only when I confidently spoke up for myself and put my argument across he seemed to take more interest.0
