  • congratulations punkygoth!!!! :j:j :)

    Thankk you:beer:
  • Im a happy bunny this morning :D I sorted out a few more DVD's to go on Amazon last night and one of them has sold - I get £28.69  it was High Street Musical (Encore Edition) so if you have that DVD, get it on there. I wont update my total till the money hits my account and take off postage fees.

Im asking advice now. I was made redundant in the summer of this year and I went to an interview which had been booked for 2 weeks but the company cancelled the interview when I was 15 minutes away at 09.00 on a monday morning. I had hired a car to get there plus paid out for petrol not to mention the work that I did to prepare for the interview and setting off at 6am to get there on time. Anyway to cut a long story short the company that cancelled the interview said that they would pay for my travel expenses via the recruitment consultant. I sent an invoice to the recruitment agency by e mail and they forwarded it onto the company but they have never paid despite me phoning the recruitment agent to chase it up. The expenses totalled £124 and I really need the money - any advice on what I should do now? this would be a fantastic boost to my Olympic Challenge total and I could really do with the money this month :o

right I will stop rambling now - thanks for doing this Gemmzie, I dont know where I would be this Christmas if I hadnt saved this way.

    ps - well done Punkygoth

    Punkygoth - congratulations!

Gemmzie - I like the squiffiness! I'll pm you my update, and since I haven't updated for a while, its a bigun: its gone up £100 or so, to £550.25, from £451.05. This includes taxis home from work I didn't take, spare change, a payment from ciao, and three mystery shopping payments. I had no idea it was that much! So even tho I haven't started m.b. or quidco, I'm more than halfway to bronze - very pleased! And I'm pleased there's going to be another one too.

Okay guys and gals (actually do we have any guys still going?? Amateurs :p)

For the next challenge, these are my thoughts (I was so bored at work today :rotfl:):
    * 08/01/08 to 08/08/08 (nice round figure and the date of the real Olympics)?
    * Any ideas how we can make it a bit different? I was thinking about like a buddy system but don't really know how it would work
    * Updates - monthly instead of weekly or does everyone like the weekly updates?
