Tax credits

Hi, I am currently claiming CTC for 2 children's. My otherwise is expecting with a 3rd child. When a 3rd child is adding to the claim will that mean the CTC will end and will have to apply for Universal credit? I am aware I will not get paid for the 3rd child anyway. Thanks

I think you should probably tell the Tax Credits team anyway. If you claim child benefit this is also run by HMRC so they will be aware of the new child (albeit in a different section).
