Flammable cladding

Hi
Was considering buying a flat as a buy to let and have been to see a few but in a sudden panic about how they could have potentially flammable cladding. I've seen a few reports of flats becoming worthless due to it following grenfell.
Is this likely to be picked up by surveyor (no mortgage required so bank won't be telling me). Or does anyone actually even know which flats have this cladding.
From the three I've been to see one was early 20th c with no cladding so I presume this could be ok but other 2 had some sort of cladding (looked at least 20 years old but I obviously don't know for sure).

Cladding should have been he ked post grenfell so speak to the freeholder and find out. They should be able to advise.
Altwrnatively the seller is likely to have had some communication about amy concerns have you asked them?0 -
Do your homework !
Find out what you could rent the flat out for ?
Make sure you count ALL the costs ? Stamp duty, legal fees, survey costs, mortgage fees, bank charges etc.
Building management fees0 -
I would expect surveyors to point out anything looking suspicious (though realistically that's all they can do - not confirm exactly what the materials are).0
