Bed is about 120 inches away from screen so 40 inch and Freeview.

You might fall over a similar set in a supermarket? I have no idea if any of these TVs are any good wrt picture and sound or reliable.

At least in some of the stores you may be able to look see and hear one on demo?

A British company https://celloelectronics.com/ who assemble from imported components. Budget end of the market often seen in Asda, M&S etc. That said they offer reasonable quality at a lower price point. I have one in my kitchen that has been going strong for about 12 years with good picture and sound.
