Currently have call package and line rental (£14.15) from Post Office and broadband from Sky(£19.51 from April). Recently had email from PlusNet who I've use before offering broadband and line for £23.99 making it cheaper than my current combination. Is it possible to buy a call package only from the Post Office and take up the line rental as part of the PlusNet broadband package?

I don't understand how that would work but, in any case, the answer appears to be no:

How to buy [a Call plan]
    • Simply place an order for one of our Broadband or Home Phone packages.
    • You’ll be able to select a call plan when placing your order.
    • All our additional call plans are on a one month contract when you take broadband and line rental, so you can choose to cancel at any time.

Why don't you contact Post Office and ask what they will offer you if you migrate your broadband to them?

    PO is resold talk talk.

If and it would be a very big if then a PO call package only is likely to be at a much bigger price than via a bundle .

Do you actually need a call package .

I personally don’t. The only reason I’ve kept my landline is so that my elderly parents can keep in touch without racking up huge bills for mobile calls to me.

Sounds like you need to sort out their phone package too. ;)
