Why not offer her a sweetner to go? The best way would however be to ask her honestly what her intentions are and to state his honestly.

Experience tells us that the more complicated these situations get, the more difficult they are to resolve.

If I were he, I would resolve it quickly and as honestlying as possbile. The best thing is to get it over and done with cleanly and quickly. In the event of any problems, a judge is likely to look at the honest party more favourably.

Not to mention a chance to make a clean and honest break.

    That was honestly (not honestlying)

At the moment, he's removed some cash from the joint account so that they both have the exact same amount in there. he'll pay half of the mortgage and bill s until it gets sorted, but no more than that!

I don't think there's an overdraft facility on it but I'll get him to check, thanks ☺

She seems to be wanting to stay in the house (even though she has another one to go to) just because she knows he wants to stay there.

We're going to get him to look at his finances today and offer her an amount in cash to let him take over everything ☺
