The dealer does not get the car back to sell with xxx ££ extras on it .Motability are the owners of the car and they dispose of it .
The dealer does not sell the car to you in the first instance .
You have the choice to end your Motability purchase and finance a car yourself .
If everybody claimed compo on the Motability scheme it would soon have to go out of business . You are lucky the scheme exists and you are not driving around in a 3 wheel motability vehicle .
Really really annoyed with the posters attempt to rip off a charity/ blackmail the dealer .
So much so that i have passed the original post on to Motability misuse/ fraud team .0 -

Dont forget though that the 'charity' is operated exclusively by a commercial entity called Motability Operations Ltd.
The chief exec is paid not far off £2million in salary and perks and received a £1million bonus in 2017 - I admit that looking after a large organisation with a turnover of £4 billion requires professional expertise however the large numbers don't fit with many peoples impression of a charity.
10% of all used cars in the UK are sold by Motability and of the £160Million profit (after taxes) , it is estimated that around £50Million is given back to the charity.0 -
Suffering? You’ve been put in a nicer courtesy car than the car you ordered, do you want to take the receptionist home for the weekend too or something?
You really need to get a handle on what suffering means, this is not suffering!
Ask for the options though - you’ll give the staff a Friday evening giggle at least.0 -

How are you suffering, you are in a better car now than the one you ordered.
I am gobsmacked sometimes ( well a lot of the time) at the posts on here0 -
Suffering?? SUFFERING??
That is a term more suited to those who lost family or limbs in terror attacks...
I would say you were mildly inconvenienced for a few minutes whilst they reordered the car and sorted you out a courtesy car until yours is ready.
Stop being such a snowflake. It was a mistake that has been rectified.
Perhaps ask for a free cup of coffee next time you visit to make up for the inconvenience.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Words fail me.
*Actually they don't, but I can't post what I'm thinking . .0 -
The only time in my entire life I've felt sorry for a car dealer.
Suffering. For the love of God.0 -
I wish I could suffer too.0

Having to explain the story to everyone who tries to congratulate us on a car that is not ours.
you could always just say %^&* off you do not have to explain anything to anyone.
also my thoughts are you are just trying to sponge as much as you can for free, grow some balls and do not claim for anything, after all your not really out of pocket are you.0 -

ertc etc
Yes but it benifits many many people and is far far better than the diabolical unsafe disabled cars pre Motability .
Motability ask for the OP to get in touch with them re his order.0
