How much would you expect to pay an electrician?

You have to pay him what the going rate is. This varies round the country.

I'm in the south west and I was recently (2 months ago) charged £60 per hour.


I needed the following done: changing light fittings - 3 inside and 1 outside, and changing on old wall socket for a new one (all new items had been bought by me in advance).


I agree that prices vary with, geographic, location.
