Yeah, I'm certainly up for it! I guess if it makes it to court, PE would not be able to come up with new reasons for issuing the PCN; it is issued for one reason OR the other OR both. perhaps - but I don't interpret this as being for both. I am fully expecting a POPLA cop out.

Show us your POPLA draft, first.

And is there a landowner/retailer/hotel/hospital to complain to?

Always try that before POPLA as it cannot be as easily cancelled by the retails/landowner after.

What were you doing for 13 minutes, collecting a patron of a hotel or hospital or something? If so then that's reason to complain.

POPLA codes last for 32 days, so you have weeks to complain, first. Many are cancelled that way, and it's much easier.

No obvious landowner just a P+D car park. Will post POPLA draft here when it gets to that point. Belief was that it was part of the Morrison's car park (Almond Road, Leicester), took a while to locate and read signs (10 minutes) and find out it wasn't, then leave (3 Min). Only exited car to read signs (as they are 7 feet high in small font - impossible to read without leaving car) - didn't leave car park on foot. Also an unfamiliar car park.

Try a complaint email to the usual 'donotreply' address shown in very Morissons thread (search for that word), even if not using Morrisons on that occasion.

They cancel them every time, if they can, and seem to hate the contract they are stuck with.

I'm not convinced it is actually a Morrison's car park (just to the side of their site, but entered on a road that leads to Morrison's and their filling station - hence the 'confusion'), but will try to establish. Thanks.

I know but an email could be done within 10 minutes, you don't have to check. Worst scenario is Ms come back and apologise that it's not their car park. Nowt to lose!

Search the forum for Morrisons and chuck a vague complaint at that email addy.

Quick update - Parking Eye have cancelled this PCN in writing. Adopted a dual pronged approach and wrote to PE and Morrisons. PE cancelled, but don't know if they were told to do so by Morrisons or whether they just felt generous! Thanks for all the help here.
