I have just signed up with the MSE Energy Club to see what rates/deals are being offered. Martin Lewis is very vocal on being prudent, so don't understand why this site is promoting companies who have poor or no credit ratings. Fair to say that several of the other comparison sites are as guilty but really, how long are some of these suppliers going to be in business given there phenomenal short term growth rate. My advice, do more than just buy into the advertised savings figure!

    I look for the cheapest deal. My reasoning is that I'm retired so have the time to sort out the inevitable issues that arise with these "one man" operations -if I was still working I suspect I'd look for service rather than price.

    I'm in similar position, but I also take into account the company "ethics", who directors are, where is HQ. I have time to faff around with this, I appreciate others do not
